Notary Service

The Montclair Public Library is happy to offer free notary services by appointment 10-11 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. Monday-Friday. We have a few stipulations:

• We ask that you call in advance for an appointment (973-744-0500 ext. 8000).
• You must bring photo identification.
• The form should be filled out but not signed; you must sign in front of the notary.
• If witnesses are required, you must bring them with you.
• Notaries cannot provide legal advice or counseling in regards to documents.
• Notaries reserve the right to decline service.
